Esli Chan
Senior Analyst
Esli Chan is a PhD candidate and researcher in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. She holds a MSc in Risk Analysis from King’s College London. Her research focuses on extremism, far-right politics, gender ideology, and disinformation. Her doctoral work particularly focuses on the recruitment of women into far-right movements. Her work has been published in Violence Against Women and Harvard Women’s Policy Journal, and The Conversation, and featured at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She is affiliated with the Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy, the Just Feminist Tech and Scholarship Lab, and the Center for International Peace and Security Studies. Her ongoing research is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
