Isabelle Corriveau
Associate Director, Public Engagement
Isabelle Corriveau is an alumna of the University of Ottawa, where she earned a Master’s degree in Communications. Her thesis, “CBC/Radio-Canada sans les droits de diffusion: un désavantage numérique ou politique?”, examined the corporate, political, and media discourse surrounding the loss of La Soirée du hockey and Hockey Night in Canada, and its implications for Canada’s public broadcaster. She also holds a diploma in journalism and documentary production. Isabelle’s professional experience spans the development of corporate communications strategies, behind-the-scenes work at Canada’s national public broadcaster, and documentary reporting on a refugee crisis in a war zone. At the Centre, she leads public engagement initiatives and media relations campaigns, working to build bridges between research and policy in Canada and internationally in order to maximize public impact. Through her work, she seeks to explore and address the challenges and opportunities shaping our society and its future.
